CARMEL, IN – Join us in welcoming Indiana Artisans as they open their Carmel location on Saturday, November 11th. The store will feature exceptional art, fine crafts and small-batch foods from over 100 Indiana Artisans. They will focus on work that embraces the state’s heritage in painting, glass, stoneware, woodwork, candies, foods and more. The store will be open 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday, Tuesday and Wednesday and 11 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Thursday through Saturday at 111 W. Main St., beginning Nov. 11.

The IU Health North Hospital Gallery Walk is the event to seek out original and exciting exhibits at District galleries. Make plans to dine at any one of the District restaurants and discover all of the exceptional offerings the District has. The Second Saturday Gallery Walk is on Saturday, November 11th from 5-9 p.m.

Additional featured artists and exhibits during the October Gallery Walk include:

This will be an evening of creative conversation, live music, and refreshments as we look to the future of digital arts in the Carmel community. No registration required, just come by the Digital Media Lab to celebrate!

  • Stephanie Carignan and Kent Susott are the featured artists at CCA Gallery for the month of November with their exhibit titled Indiana Wood and Acrylic Cityscapes. Stephanie enjoys working in Impasto, meaning “thick paint” and loves using her palette knife. Kent is an orthodontist by trade but has acquired a passion for making small boxes and custom furniture.

  • College Wood Elementary art students are presenting works of art at the Carmel Art Council’s Children’s Art Gallery inspired by famous artists such as Andy Warhol, Georgia O’Keefe, Henri Rousseau and Piet Mondrian. The Gallery Annex is showcasing middle school art from Carmel, Clay and Creekside Middle Schools and Carmel High School. CAC’s Community Art exhibit is featuring 5 pieces of art which received scholarships from the Carmel International Arts Festival. Join them during the gallery walk to celebrate this new show and meet the artists. Hoosier Salon’s South Gallery will be host to Elements featuring Indianapolis Museum of Contemporary Art (IMOCA). This partner exhibition with the Hoosier Salon features artists from Indianapolis, Muncie, Bloomington, South Bend and Evansville working in painting, photography, sculpture and metal work with a strong comprehension of the elements of art. Bold colors, strong lines and complex shapes are just a few of the components visitors can expect to see.
