Keeping you up to speed on the 2019 CARMEL INTERNATIONAL ARTS FESTIVAL! This will be our 22nd anniversary and will feature more than 130 juried artists exhibiting in 2D, 3D, Ceramics, Fiber, Glass, Jewelry, Painting, Photography and Wood.



Next year the festival hours on:
Saturday the 28th of September - will be from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday hours will remain 11-5 p.m.


Art Rocks returns to Main Street with 'The Bishops'

We are excited to announce that our popular ART ROCKS street party - held on Saturday night, 7-10 p.m., during the Festival weekend - will feature ever popular band, The Bishops in 2019! This Indy favorite puts on a high-energy, multi-genre, all-ages friendly show that is both interactive and addictive! You will be dancing in the streets of the Carmel Arts & Design District!

  • The Best of Show - Anthony Slichenmyer, 3D
  • 1st Place – Taylor Mazer, 2D
  • 2nd Place – Kirk Miller, Glass
  • 3rd Place – Joel Pinkerton, 3D
  • Mayor’s Award - Taylor Mazer, 2D

This was the scene inside the Mayor's office as the Carmel International Arts Festival and artist Taylor Mazer presented the 2018 winning art work to Mayor Jim Brainard!
Congratulations Taylor on a job well done and thank you Mayor Brainard for your constant support of the Festival and of our wonderful artists!


Back to business

After a wonderful 2018 Carmel International Arts Festival, where more than 30,000 people enjoyed a perfect weekend with more than 166 Artists, Vendors and Organizations, it was back to business as usual - our team planning the 2019 event!
