Warming Shelters Open in Carmel


UPDATE: 11:25 a.m.
Carmel High School Warming Shelter - Please use Door 13, west side, Freshman Center Entrance
Animals must be crated! - For those who are bringing their pets to the warming shelter – they must be crated. Please bring accommodations for your animals.

CARMEL, IN – For those in need of a warming shelter in Carmel due to a power outage or otherwise, Carmel's designated warming shelter is Carmel High School. This shelter will be operational until 7 p.m. this evening. Please enter through Door 4 on the south side between the main entrance and the cafeteria.

 

If you are unable to get to Carmel High School, any Carmel Fire Station can be used as a warming shelter.

If you're having a life-threatening emergency, call 911, as always.
