Drainage Plan and Projects

Drainage Improvements: As part of the Southwest Clay Incorporation Agreement, the City of Carmel agreed to make drainage improvements in 2010 and 2011 to various areas in southwest Clay Township. In order to fund these projects, $1 million has been included in the 2009 County Option Income Tax (COIT) bond. Once these funds are secured, the City Department of Engineering will move forward with more specific plans for the drainage improvements.

The areas where these drainage projects will take place include the following:

1. Larkspur 
2. Walnut Creek 
3. Kingsmill 
4. Windemere 
5. Crooked Stick 
6. Crooked Stick West 
7. Bridlebourne
