The City of Carmel Utilities is proud to present a program that provides insight to the public on the responsibilities and operations of your Water, Wastewater, Trash & Recycling and Household Hazardous Waste Disposal services. The Fall 2018 class was the first class open to the public.
We have designed the Citizens Utility Academy to accomplish several goals. The most important goal is to open channels of communication between the citizens of Carmel and the Utility Department. Additionally, we want to develop an understanding of the Utilities role in providing your water, wastewater and trash services. The objective of the Academy is to make better informed citizens, with an accurate knowledge of our many responsibilities and functions.
The Carmel Utilities Citizens Academy is a six week program. The instructors will all be staff members of Carmel Utilities and they will provide instruction and information concerning a particular area of their profession.
