City of Carmel Director of Human Resources  Ex-officio

Nicole Murphy is the Director of Human Resources for the City of Carmel. Touting extensive experience in leading teams and career development efforts, Murphy served in human resource leadership roles in banking, higher education and technology, as well as with the cities of Lawrence and Bedford.

Murphy earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Evansville and a master’s in business administration from Indiana Wesleyan University.

As the Director of Human Resources, Nicole serves in an ex-officio capacity on the Mayor’s Advisory Commission on Human Relations.
