The City of Carmel's Chief of Staff assists the mayor in managing the day-to-day operations, serving as the mayor’s principal aide and advisor on City issues.
The Chief of Staff assists with a broad range of municipal activities such as developing policy and process efficiency while focusing on the Administration's strategic goals. On behalf of the Mayor, the Chief of Staff is the liaison for the city, working directly with all levels of government, including federal, state, county and school boards, identifying potential partners and resources to service resident needs.
