Plan Commission Impact Fee Advisory Committee

The Impact Fee Advisory Committee is comprised of the full membership of the Carmel Plan Commission plus Mr. Bill Redman, a member of the real estate industry, who previously served on the Committee in 2014.

The purpose of the Impact Fee Advisory Committee is to periodically review and advise the Plan Commission on proposals for new Impact Fee Zone Improvement Plans and Fee Ordinances.
The Parks & Recreation Impact Fee operates on a five year cycle, whereby the City of Carmel imposes a fee on new dwelling units to offset additional costs for park system expansion and improvements to serve additional residents.

The current Parks & Recreation Impact Fee Ordinance took effect in 2015 and will expire next year.
