Overview

Carmel adopted its new Comprehensive Plan in December 2022. A critical component of that Plan is to create Sub Area Plans throughout the city. Home Place is one of the first Sub Area Plans to be developed. While the Sub Area Plan will be amended into the Comprehensive Plan, this planning process will establish an even deeper understanding of Home Place’s needs and opportunities while reinforcing the community’s unique character. It will be a plan for and by Home Place. This effort started in April 2024 and will continue through the summer and early fall. Along the way there will be multiple opportunities for you to stay in the loop, provide input, and get involved to shape the outcome and what comes next for Home Place.
