Community Risk Assessment:

Community Risk Assessment involves pre-planning each and every commercial building within the City of Carmel and Clay Township, identifying risks associated with those buildings based on the following: Hazards, risks, fire flows, probability, consequence, life safety impact, environmental impact, economic impact, occupancy risk, fire management zone, and overall community risk.

This portion also includes the time and on-scene performance expectations while responding on emergency runs, service level objectives for the first responding units and the effective response force, distribution, concentration, and response reliability. This is accomplished by analyzing the historical response data by planning area, fire management zones, jurisdictions and various call types.
