The Urban Forestry Committee was formed through Ordinance No. D-1091 on August 1, 1994, and amended by Ordinance Nos. D-1757-05 (11/7/2005) and D-2067-11 (11/7/11). This Committee consists of seven members appointed by the Mayor to three-year terms.
The Committee is responsible for assisting the City in the development and administration of a comprehensive community tree management program.
