The Traffic Unit is comprised of officers specifically assigned to concentrate on traffic enforcement. When weather allows, these officers can be seen patrolling on motorcycles.

Through education and the enforcement of traffic laws, they aim to reduce the number of traffic violations and accidents within the community. These officers engage in traffic enforcement, traffic planning, enforcement planning, escorts and assist with all major events.
